On Monday 21st January, my little booklet called SprÃ¥k og oppmerksomhet [Language and Attention] will be published by Aschehoug Publishers in Oslo. The booklet is part of a series called Stemmer [Voices], consisting of 12 booklets written by women, to mark the centenary of Norwegian women’s right to vote. The series will be launch at the publishers at 19:00.
On Thursday 25 October, at 6:00 p.m. I will give a lecture (in Norwegian) at the Norwegian Academy of Sciences, Drammensveien 78, Oslo. The (new) title of the talk is  “Det vanskelige ved virkeligheten: om sprÃ¥k og oppmerksomhet i litteraturen og filosofienâ€.
On Thursday September 27, I will give the Christopher Longest Lecture in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. The title of my lecture will be  “What Is Otherness? Who is My Other? What Simone de Beauvoir Can Teach Us about the Concept of the Other.”
